Earlier today, I wrote about CNN’s appalling bit of propaganda that almost romanticized the terrorist attack in New York City by two Islamists, who were radicalized by ISIS.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This has happened so many times now, it’s truly incredible.<\/p>\n
The same thing happened when I called my dad and told him about Nick Shirley’s Somali daycare fraud story.<\/p>\n
He had no idea and couldn’t believe he hadn’t heard about it at all.<\/p>\n
It’s so frustrating.\u00a0<\/p>\n
I remember it well though, it never feels like indoctrination because it comes from everywhere at once.<\/p>\n
CNN in the morning at the gym.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Scrolling Instagram over coffee.\u00a0<\/p>\n
A podcast on the commute home.\u00a0<\/p>\n
They have their different tones, but they all keep arriving at the same places.<\/p>\n
The same things were important. The same people were credible.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Literally ANY OTHER CONCERNS were paranoid or fringe or evidence of the kind of thinking that TRULY EDUCATED people had moved past long ago…<\/p>\n
I took this convergence, everyone, everywhere telling the same stories with the same angles… as proof.<\/p>\n
When you hear the same thing from ten different sources, your brain does something TOTALLY RATIONAL… it registers confirmation.<\/p>\n
Five witnesses describing the same event is better evidence than one.\u00a0<\/p>\n
This is just how evidence works.<\/p>\n
The lie, the nefarious, sadistic like…<\/p>\n
…is that ALLLLLLLLL your sources were never independent<\/p>\n
When I discovered this for the first time, it made me want to vomit it was so horrifying.<\/p>\n
The convergence I took as proof of truth was only proof of a shared bias.<\/p>\n
The most nefarious part of all is that the media doesn’t try to convince you of an outright lie.<\/p>\n
Outright lies are often detectable.<\/p>\n
What’s far more effective, what’s essentially invisible until the moment it isn’t, is SELECTION.<\/p>\n
The stories they choose to run.<\/p>\n
Which deaths become national tragedy and which aren’t even told.<\/p>\n
Which government failures get a monster investigative series and which get 1 sentence.<\/p>\n
Which protests are worthy and which are dangerous.<\/p>\n
Which experts are credible and which are fringe.<\/p>\n
My dad, my friends at the gym don’t want to dive deep into these stories, they have 5 minutes and are just trying to live a normal life\u2026 trusting that if something is TRULY important, someone will tell them.<\/p>\n
The legacy media know this.\u00a0<\/p>\n
That’s why they make sure you never hear the truth.<\/p>\n
Once you see that, you can’t unsee it.<\/p>\n
It changes everything.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\n <\/p>\nOf course, it’s not just CNN. The entire media complex is doing everything it can to create a Truman Show where all bad things are Trump’s fault, and all of Trump’s actions are bad. That is the secret to their continued success with convincing Democrats and some normies that the world has gone to hell under Trump.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\nRemember just like, a week ago when CNN personalities had a meltdown because new ownership is taking over and might make some changes at the company?<\/p>\n
